Functional Movement Screening (FMS)
NEW!  FMS  is a  ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical  conditioning and distort body awareness. The FMS generates the Functional Movement Screen  Score, which is used to target problems and track progress. This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial corrective exercises  to restore mechanically sound movement patterns.

 Cold Laser
The  goal of laser therapy is to deliver  light energy  units from infrared laser  radiation, caled photons, to damaged cells. It is the consensus  of experts is that photons  absorbed by the cells through laser therapy stimulate the mitochondria to accelerate production of ATP.  This biochemical increase in cell energy is used to transform live cells from a state of illness  to a stable, healthy state. Great for getting out of  acute pain!

WHY ART?
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome  shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

How do overuse conditions occur?
Over used muscles (and other soft tissues) change in three important ways: acute conditions (pulls/tears/collisions, etc), accumulation of small tears, and not getting enough oxygen.
  • Each of these factors can cause your body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area. This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely.
  • As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons cause tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped. This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling ,numbness, and weakness.

What is an ART treatment like?
Every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. The ART provider uses his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.

Normatec  Boots  and Arm Sleeves
Our system includes a control unit and attachments which go on the legs, arms, or hips. They use compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery.  When you use Normatec you will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the connected attachments are molded to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, hands, or upper quad (depending on which attachment you are using). Similar to the kneading and stroking done during a massage, each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works its way up your limb. Our Boots use compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery. Ideal  pre or post  workout, our boots will get you back to being game day ready in no time!
