Dr. Bates was active in sports his entire life. He was a very successful high school basketball players in the state of Oklahoma. He also played on a premier AAU basketball team, competing against present NBA players and numerous division one players. He decided not to play college basketball , but instead focus on his education at Oklahoma State University where he learned how he could help athletes by being a chiropractor . He did his internship at one of the best sports chiropractic offices in Dallas Texas. He worked alongside Dr. Daryl Laney, D.C. and gained valuable experience. Dr. Bates has already worked with major league baseball players, professional tri-athletes, college basketball and baseball players, and many more athletes of all sports.
Erin Bates Office Manager
Erin Bates is a Shreveport, La native. She graduated from Northwestern State University in Health & Exercise Science. While at NSU she was on the President's list, was an active Phi Mu, and as an intern her senior year she put on a 5K Race to help raise money for a charity. She stays active within the community, and loves to see people live a healthy life. Erin has always had an interest in keeping the body healthy and staying fit. She enjoys staying active and spending time with her family . If you have any questions you will be speaking with Erin and she will be glad to assist you. Dr. William Duncan, D.C. William was born & raised in Shreveport, La and is excited to be coming back home with his wife Kimberly and baby, Avery, on the way. Sports have always been a part of his life whether it was competing in the Junior Olympics for fencing, playing intramural sports throughout college or pushing the limits in the Crossfit box. He is a C.E. Byrd graduate that then attendee LSUS to study Community Health with the intention of going into Physical Therapy. In his final year at LSUS William was introduced to chiropractic care by his father Bill Duncan, which lead to an internship with Dr. Bates. That internship put him on the path pursuit a Doctrine of Chiropractic from Parker University. During his time at Parker University William obtained different certifications including: - RockTape Basic FMT Certification (2016) - RockTape Performance FMT Certification (2016) - RockBlade IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) Certification (2016) - A.R.T. Full Body Certification (2016) - A.R.T. Long Nerve Entrapment Certification (2017) Once having obtained these certifications he helped teach and grow the Parker University Soft Tissue Club.
Amy Hughes LMT Amy has been a professional Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002 . She attended massage therapy school in Kansas City, Missouri; where she is from and obtained a degree in massage therapy from a 1500 hour program . Amy specializes in prenatal, deep tissue, pain management, Swedish, and neuromuscular massage therapy . Throughout her career she has worked on many semi-pro and pro-athletes. She enjoys working with sports injuries in tennis, golf, softball, baseball, football and soccer. She has dedicated part of her career to working with chiropractors in a wellness environment. Amy also is passionate about teaching massage therapy and has been a massage therapy instructor since 2009 . Amy lives in Bossier city with her husband William, daughter Mackenzie, son Konner and dogs Bruno and Cash.

Michelle Wilcox is originally from Dexter in upstate New York. She moved to Shreveport in 2008 on a bus from NC with 1 suitcase and has built a life for herself here. She graduated from SUNY Canton in Veterinary Science and Management. She became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2006 and worked her way up to a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2018. Her passion has always been helping people through pets. Recently she made a bold move into the Chiropractic & Sports Therapy world to take on new challenges. Michelle enjoys baking cakes/cupcakes and attending sporting events. She has been a Dallas Cowboys fan her whole life! She would love to travel to every NFL stadium to watch a game, 3 down, 27 to go!
