Biography
Elite Provider for Active Release. Members to the Elite Provider Network (EPN) are recruited from the most qualified Doctors who have demonstrated a commitment to resolving soft tissue conditions as quickly as possible, and by making ART a primary focus of their private practices.
Treated MLB, WNBA, USA Olympians, LA Tech, NSU, SMU, Oklahoma State, and local high school athletes
Hobbies: Coaching youth sports, hunting, sports, being active, family, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, church and spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three children.
Dr. Bates has been active in sports his entire life and was a standout high school basketball player in the state of Oklahoma. He also competed on a premier AAU basketball team, facing future NBA athletes and numerous Division I players. Choosing to focus on his education rather than pursue college basketball, he attended Oklahoma State University, where he discovered his passion for helping athletes through chiropractic care. He completed his internship at one of the top sports chiropractic offices in Dallas, Texas, working alongside Dr. Daryl Laney, D.C., and gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Throughout his career, Dr. Bates has treated major league baseball players, professional triathletes, and collegiate basketball and baseball athletes across multiple programs. He has also served on the IRONMAN World Championship Treatment Team and is the Team Chiropractor for Northwestern State Basketball.

Biography
Dr. Marc Pinto brings more than three decades of experience and a lifetime of clinical mastery to Bates Chiropractic and Sports Therapy. He owned and operated a successful private practice for over 30 years in the suburbs of Chicago, where he provided care to thousands of patients across all stages of life.
He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and has extensive experience caring for youth hockey teams. Dr. Marc is also highly trained in nutrition, herbal therapies, and multiple advanced technical techniques that elevate healing to a deeper, more comprehensive level.
Dr. Marc has been married to his wife, Maria, for 38 years. Together they have four children and two grandchildren. When asked about the secret to lasting health, Dr. Marc believes it is simple:

Biography
Dr. Jenna Watson was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. From an early age, she knew she wanted to help people, but it wasn’t until she experienced chiropractic care firsthand that she found her true calling. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2004 and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker Chiropractic College in December 2011.
After graduation, Dr. Jenna returned to Shreveport and successfully owned and operated her own chiropractic practice from April 2012 through December 2025. She joined Bates Chiropractic and Sports Therapy in January 2026, bringing with her years of experience and a deep passion for patient-centered care.
Dr. Jenna has been married to her husband, Aaron Watson, since 2004, and they have two sons, Ezra and Oliver. Life in the Watson household is full of energy—whether they’re on a baseball field, riding bikes, or spending time with family and friends. They are strong believers and are deeply committed to their church family.
Dr. Jenna takes great pride in caring for her patients and is especially passionate about empowering families—particularly children—in their health and wellness journeys. Whether chiropractic care is new to you or something you’ve experienced before, her goal is for every patient to feel heard, informed, and confident in having a dependable partner in their healthcare experience.

Biography
Erin Bates is a Shreveport, La native. She graduated from Northwestern State University in Health & Exercise Science. While at NSU she was on the President’s list, was an active Phi Mu, and as an intern her senior year she put on a 5K Race to help raise money for a charity. She stays active within the community, and loves to see people live a healthy life. Erin has always had an interest in keeping the body healthy and staying fit. She enjoys staying active and spending time with her family . If you have any questions you will be speaking with Erin and she will be glad to assist you.

Biography
Jessica began her Massage Therapy journey 10 years ago at Blue Cliff College in Shreveport. She has found that working in tandem with chiropractic care has produced maximum benefits for her clients. She has continued to study different modalities to improve on her knowledge and scope to enhance client care and is trained in Swedish, Prenatal, Geriatric, Sports, Hot Stone, and Deep Tissue massage and Assisted Stretch, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology.
She has been a yoga practitioner for over 16 years and is currently studying to become a Licensed Yoga Instructor and Ayurvedic Specialist.

Shane Williams, LMT

Biography
Shane began his Massage Therapy journey 13 years ago at Blue Cliff College in Shreveport. Before that, he graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Panola College. Through both of these experiences, he is able to apply the appropriate techniques and adjust as needed to a variety of conditions.
