Meet the Bates ChiroSport Team

Dr. Ryan Bates

A few words from Dr. Bates:

"I am excited to bring to North Louisiana the gold standard in soft tissue treatment and get people out of pain and back to living healthier lives! I have deep family ties in this area and it is a honor to work within a community my family has been such a big part of for so long. Being able to treat the basketball team at NSU where my grandfather played in 1948 gives me "goosebumps" to be a part of that tradition. My goal is simple. Help people in this community to perform better in life, from sports to even playing with their grandchildren!"

Dr. Jacob Navarro

Jacob Navarro is a native to the Shreveport/Bossier metropolitan area. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Kinesiology. Growing up he was very active in sports ranging from baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. Not only has he always had a love for sports, but he has also shared a passion for interacting with others and knowing that a difference has been made in someone’s life. Elizabeth Cangelosi

Elizabeth Cangelosi, Patient Coordinator/Marketing Director

Elizabeth is originally from the suburbs of New Orleans where she gained hands-on marketing and management experience before she moved to north Louisiana to continue her education. It was her time at Louisiana Tech where she really found her love for design as well as fitness. After college, she found herself as head graphic designer for a software developing company, but really wanted to follow a career path that she could merge both passions together. She currently coaches an AAU Jr. Olympic weightlifting team, and is a Crossfit level 1 trainer. Elizabeth is excited to work with our staff helping patients become the healthiest versions of themselves by expanding their knowledge about Active Release Technique.
